The Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance is currently funded via a partnership between Helen Macpherson Smith Trust and Office for Youth (Department of Human Services).
The partnership is part of the Mentoring and Capacity Building Initiative led by the Victorian Government through the Office for Youth.
The Initiative aims to:
• develop a coordinated, evidence-based approach to build investment in mentoring;
• increase involvement of young people in high-quality mentoring programs; and
• build strong cross-sectoral community participation supporting mentoring.
We would like to acknowledge our partners at Zoos Victoria for their support of youth mentoring programs via free tickets during Youth Mentoring Week 2009 and 2010.
