The Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance provides training and events relevant to the needs of mentoring practitioners.
In 2012 we continue our commitment to support sustainable, quality youth mentoring across Victoria.
With the closure of the 6 regional coordination projects in December 2011 we have limited capacity to support youth mentoring across all regions of Victoria.
During the first half of 2012 we endeavour to support our members in the following ways:
- Workshops and Networks - VYMA staff will facilitate four events in areas where there is a critical mass of programs.
- Practice ‘Clinics’ - Program coordinators will be able to book in for a quality practice consultation with a VYMA staff member on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
- Member Resources - VYMA members will be able to access templates, resources and practice suggestions on our member's page.
We encourage all youth mentoring programs to ensure membership to the VYMA in order to access these supports.
